Nyheter - by magnus, 29 June 2012 10:16 PM
The last race in Fjord-O 2012 was held at Bømoen today. The terrain was mostly open forest with elements of denser areas and buildings. The high pace was challenging, and resulted in only seconds separating the best runners. In both M21 and M17-18 only one second separated the first and second place. In M21 Per Harald Havnen Johansen, Lillomarka OL, won, and Rasmus Korvald Skaare from NTNUI finished second. Torjus Raa from Varegg won M17-18 one second ahead of Fredrik Wennermark, OK Skogsfalken. Overall, the victory of M21 divided between Havnen Johansen and Øyvind Helgerud from Halden SK. Helgerud was in the lead after Day 2, but could not defend the lead for the last two race days. In W21 Bodil Holmström won her fourth consecutive race, and secured the overall victory ahead of Lone Brochmann from Eiker OL. Christiane Trösse from Varegg finished second in the sprint, 13 seconds behind, while Brochmann finished in third just over half a minute behind Holmström.
You can find the overall results for all classes here.
The organizing clubs Gular, Varegg and Voss wish to thank you for 4 nice days in Voss!
