Possible accommodations in the Voss area can be found at http://www.visitvoss.no/

Fjord-O 2012 will not provide any accomodation, as it is a lot of good options in Voss area that can be found without our help. But we do anyway love to help a bit so here are a few tips for camping or school rental:

- For large groups it is possible to rent schools in Voss area. We in Fjord-O West are happy to provide contact, if this is wished for. However contract of rental will be between Voss municipality and the group, without Fjord-O as a part.

- When it comes to camping Flatlandsmo Camping is mentioned in particular. We will recommend as many as possible to use this camping, so it can be a nice community packed with like-minded  orienteerers, that it’s nice to live with. More information can be found on their website http://www.flatlandsmo.no

Cabins have a cost at 450,- til 600,- Norwegian kroner (NOK) per day. The camping does also have at large camping/house with room for a large group of up to 22 persons. The price for this one is 250 NOK per person per day if it is at least 75 % full.

There is also room for 25-30 RVs/caravans.

- If you should wish to use an other camping Tvinde camping also is an option. Check out http://tvinde.no. At this camping you can rent a one-room cabin for 4 persons at a cost of 450 NOK per day, or a two-room apparment for 5 persons at a cost of 590 NOK per day. RV/caravan/tent costs 140 NOK per day, plus 20 NOK per adult, 10 NOK per child and 40 NOK for electricity.

- Other possibilities might be Voss Jordbruksskule (Agricultural school) or Voss Folkehoegskule.

Again – if none of these alternatives seems like the right ones, there are plenty links to accomodation at http://www.visitvoss.no. For example to hotels or larger cabins, houses or appartments.

NOTE!! The Extreme Sport Week is taking place in Voss at the same time as Fjord-O. So if you want to be sure to get some good accomodation it’s recommended to order it early.
